Our Story

Guesthouse Elements was born from a simple idea: to create a place where the boundary between inside and outside disappears. Completed in 2024, every detail of this home was designed to frame the beauty of Bergen's polder landscape — from the 8-metre glass façade that floods the living space with light, to the carefully chosen materials that echo the natural surroundings.

We believe a great getaway isn't about escaping life, it's about slowing down long enough to notice it. The morning mist drifting across the meadows. The silence, broken only by birdsong. The golden light that paints the dunes of Schoorl at sunset.

Elements is our invitation to you: leave the noise behind, breathe a little deeper, and reconnect with what matters.

Reconnect with nature

Bergen sits where forest meets sea, where wide-open polders stretch toward the dunes of Schoorl. It's a landscape that invites you to slow down,  to run through the dunes, cycle to the beach, or simply sit in the garden and watch the sky change colour.

We designed Guesthouse Elements to be your base for exactly that. Whether you come to explore or to do nothing at all, you'll find space here, 3,000 m² of garden, panoramic views from your pillow, and a silence that's hard to find anywhere else.

Bergen's charming village centre is just a 5-minute bike ride away, with galleries, restaurants and cafés. The beach at Bergen aan Zee is 20 minutes through the dunes. And when you get home, the trampoline is waiting for the kids while you pour a glass of wine on the terrace.

This is what reconnecting feels like.
